A fire rating indicates how long a safe can protect its contents in a fire scenario at a given temperature. For example, a "60-minute at 1000°C" rating means the internal temperature stays below the critical threshold for 60 minutes. For documents, you need the temperature to stay below 177°C; for digital media, below 52°C. We help you choose the right rating for what you're protecting.
Security grades (Grade 0 through Grade 6 under EN 1143-1) indicate how resistant a safe is to a professional attack. Grade 0 is basic residential; Grade 6 is bank-grade. Yes. All OASIS installations carry a minimum 2-year parts and labour warranty. Extended warranty and annual maintenance contracts are available for commercial clients. Electronic lock systems carry manufacturer warranties of up to 5 years.
Yes, we offer installation-only services for safes purchased from other suppliers. We'll conduct a pre-installation inspection to ensure the safe meets quality and safety standards before proceeding. Contact us for a separate installation quote.
Absolutely. We offer annual maintenance contracts for safes, vaults, alarm systems, CCTV, and access control. These include periodic inspections, software/firmware updates, battery replacements, and priority emergency callout response.
The best locations are master bedroom closets (most burglars avoid bedrooms due to risk of encountering occupants), home offices, or basements. Avoid common areas and obvious spots. Our consultants will recommend the optimal concealed location during the site survey.
Ideal items for safe storage include: passports and identity documents, property deeds and legal contracts, cash and foreign currency, jewellery and watches, hard drives and USB drives containing sensitive data, firearms (where legally applicable), and irreplaceable photos or keepsakes. We'll help you size the safe appropriately.

Look for an EN 1143-1 security grade certification (Grade 0-6). Avoid safes with no certification — these are often merely fire cabinets with minimal resistance to attack. All safes we supply are fully certified and tested. We can also assess an existing safe you own during a consultation visit.
